Questa mattina, Neil Patrick Harris si è unito ad Aaron Paul per annunciare il 65esimo Premio Emmy Primetime nomine. Oltre a Harris e Paul che hanno ottenuto le nomination, Netflix's Castello di carte, che ha ricevuto 9 nomination, ha stabilito una precedenza diventando il primo show nominato a non essere mai andato in onda in televisione.
Tuttavia, erano gli FX American Horror Story: Asylum e HBO Game of Thrones che ha guidato il gruppo con 17 e 16 nomination, rispettivamente. L'altamente controverso ma ancora amato Sviluppo arrestato la stagione 4 ha ricevuto 3 nomination, inclusa una per Jason Bateman e una per il montaggio, il che potrebbe sorprendere qualcuno chi ha contestato con la formattazione della nuova stagione.
